Creating a Deal-a-day site to promote charitable donations

Our Client

You know those popular deal-a-day sites? Philanthroper mimics the same model, but instead of advertising goods we advertise 501(c)3 non-profits every day. We helped create this micro charity donation site to encourage benevolence in others. Over the course of its lifespan, we raised over $100,000 in donations!

The Idea

Our approach from the start was to attract newer non-profits. After contacting several organizations about partnering with us, we were met with smiles each time. The opportunity to reach thousands of people about your message & in turn receive financial backing is very enticing. A campaign would run for only 24 hours, but it's impact would last far longer.

The Identity

The mark, tagline & logotype form Philanthroper's tranquil identity. The hummingbird mark symbolizes the speed & precision we take when handling each campaign. We chose to keep a tagline to reinforce our site's main goal effectively – a little helps a lot.

The Causes

You don't have to be rich to be a philanthroper. Our daily featured causes raised funds for: human rights, the arts, environmental preservation, animal shelters, food drives & many more.

The Press

We received high remarks from major news sources. Fast Company called us "...a 21st century version of a classic philanthropist." Thanks to these news outlets, our site grew in popularity & charities benefitted from the exposure.

We never imagined raising this amount of funds so swiftly. A very special thanks goes out to each and every person involved. Philanthroper was just our idea, but you made it real.
